Professional Planning Work

As an urban planner, I don’t just work on shaping communities—I live, breathe, and thrive in them. This isn’t just a job; it’s my home and community. Planning isn’t about drawing lines on a map—it’s about making sure our neighborhoods are places where people want to be, where children can play, businesses can grow, and life feels just right.

Engagement

I don’t just plan from behind a desk—I’m out there listening, brainstorming, and collaborating with neighbors, local leaders, and anyone who has an interest in the future. Because at the end of the day, I’m a (Medicine) Hatter too!

Current Planning

Whether it’s reimagining public spaces, improving transportation, or making sure growth happens in a way that benefits everyone, my goal is simple: to design spaces that aren’t just built, but lived in—to create communities that are as innovative as they are welcoming, where progress meets the people who make it all happen.

Shaping the Future, One Permit at a Time
From schools to airports, commercial spaces to vibrant multi-unit residences, I’m the behind the scenes of the permitting process making sure every project is done right. Whether it’s navigating complex permits or fine-tuning the details, I manage all the moving pieces to keep things running smoothly.

Planning for Tomorrow, Today
I’m not just thinking about what’s happening now – I’m also laying the groundwork for the future. From policy amendments to strategic urban planning, I contribute to the long-range vision that makes cities thrive for years to come.

Guiding Progress with Precision
As a member of the Technical Coordinating Committee, I collaborate across departments, guiding projects with the goal of making the city function more efficiently. It’s all about keeping the big picture in mind while ensuring each step is thoughtful.

Urban Advocacy in Action
When I’m not working on permits, I’m advocating for smarter, more sustainable urban spaces. Speaking at colleges and engaging with future urban thinkers, I’m passionate about inspiring change and pushing the boundaries of what a community can be.
